Tirich Mir Expedition offers a series of eleven peaks, each with different routes to their summits. Tirich Mir peak being the highest peak in KPK Province of Pakistan and is also the highest peaks of the great Hindukush Mountains Range that lies in Pakistan and Afghanistan.It stands out from other peaks in the region at a towering height of 7708M above from the sea level. Tirich Mir Expedition was first led and climbed by a well-known philosopher Arne Naessin the year 1950. The team included Tony Streather, P. Kvern Berg and H. Berg. Later, in the year 1964, 1967, 1969 & 1974 Tirich Mir East (7692), Tirich Mir West I (7487), Tirich Mir West II (7500M) and Tirich Mir III (7400) & Tirich Mir Little (6500M) peaks were conquered by different western climbers. Tirich Mir Expedition is accessible through Chitral town, which is situated in the KPK Province of Pakistan. The towering peak can be seen from the main Chitral Baazar (Market). Flights to Chitral are operated on a daily basis from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Flights to Chitral are subject to weather and there’s always a chance of flight cancellation to the mountainous regions of Pakistan like Chitral. One can travel by road through Mardan, Malakand, Dir&Loweri Pass. It takes about 12-14 hours by road to Chitral Town. We have 40 days itinerary for Tirich Mir expedition. Your adventure starts as we pick you up from the airport in Islamabad. We will make sure that you sit and relax until we get you to the Tirich Mir base camp, from where your adventure kicks off.
